'Tourniquet' Shows Bleech 9:3 at Their Most Vulnerable Yet

If you’re an avid Cherry Rock reader, then first of all: thank you. And second of all –  you already know how big this is.

Fast‑rising newcomers Bleech 9:3 have finally released their long‑awaited track Tourniquet, a song that has lived in the collective imagination of their fanbase for months. Now that it’s here, it lands with the exact emotional force people hoped for: a heartfelt, slow‑burning piece that lingers long after the final note dissolves.

Tourniquet is beautiful from start to finish. It opens with that whispered confession –  “Even if I’m wrong, I’ll stay in love with you” – a line that feels like someone speaking directly into your chest. Then comes the guitar riff, delicate but deliberate, before the song eventually unfurls into an explosive bridge. Bleech 9:3 showcase an entirely different facet of their craft here: softer, more vulnerable, but still unmistakably them.

But the story doesn’t end with the single. In true Bleech 9:3 fashion, they’ve paired the release with an ominous teaser for October 2nd. What's behind this is yet to be revealed, but all evidence point towards the announcement of the long awaited debut album, with lead-singer Barry confirming Tourniquet is the first song from it on BBC Radio 1. A debut album is going to skyrocket Bleech 9:3's trajectory, and we're here for it.

TOURNIQUET OUT NOW.
