Describe tonight’s gig in one word!

Tonight's gig in one word? I would say sweaty, like most of our gigs.

What’s your favourite song to play live?

I would say Turnaround Song. It’s very bouncy. We wrote it, I think five years ago. And, yeah, it’s- finally, finally here and it’s always a lot of fun.

What’s the first thing you do after leaving stage?

I drink a whole litre of water because I really need to.

Favourite band of all time?

Alabama Shakes or Two Gallants.

Dream collaboration – dead or alive?

I would say Jack White or Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes.

What’s one lyrical or sonic moment you’re most proud of?

I would say it's from our new album, in Unsaid/Undone. There's a very intricate part towards the end of the song where we combine lots of very weird features. We have like a Reggaeton beat, throat singing, different kinds of guitars. And I'm very proud of that because I didn't expect it to come together so well or at all.

What was your favourite moment in the recording/writing process?

When Paul, our drummer, performed the whole album in, like, two days. We had two days in the studio, so it was a very tight schedule and he actually did it! So, yeah, that was very cool! Or another very great moment to me was recording the vocals because we did not go to a studio for that and I did that in my bedroom and I made, like a vocal booth in my wardrobe and I have two roommates and neighbours! And there's a few parts in the album where I sing very loudly and it's a lot of screaming. One of the songs I had to finish recording the vocal one day before we went into the studio to mix it. So, I did that at night - shoutout to my roommates and neighbours.

What do you hope the audience feels/takes away from listening to your LP?

Our album is very much about contrast, and I hope it comes through. It’s very much about light and darkness. Noise and quiet. And how they can only coexist with each other. How one is brighter or louder if you also have the other one.

What’s a dream venue or city that feels like it would unlock a new version of your band? Why?

Honestly, I think any big outdoor festival. Because we played one two years ago. It was the biggest festival in Mainz. The OPEN OHR-festival and it felt amazing. It’s very different than playing the sweaty clubs which we love but it feels very, very different! I would say maybe Hurricane festival or something. Because it’s just a very, very different feeling and you perform differently.

What are your plans for 2026?

We got a couple of gigs coming up for 2026 and I would love to see you there! Party with us, have a good time and see you there!
